THE IYF RELIES 100% ON OUR  INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY OF DONORS.

THE IYF RECEIVES NO GOVERNMENT FUNDING.

OUR IMPACT IS YOUR IMPACT. EVERY DONATION MEANS MORE YOUNG PEOPLE SUPPORTED.

UNITED BEHIND OUR MOST VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE. HERE’S SOME OF THE WAYS YOU’VE HELPED THIS YEAR.

INCREDIBLE CORPORATE SUPPORT

We cannot thank enough our amazing corporate supporters who have worked tirelessly to raise funds for the IYF.

This has included barcode weekends (Applegreen), participation in the mini-marathon (Vhi), additional homework club support (Linesight), a Christmas raffle (PwC), a Christmas appeal (William Fry), a golf day (Glandore), drag queen bingo (Udemy), 5k a day in June  (Coopman), a contribution per each item of clothing sold (Human Collective) and so much more.

SADHBH LAWLOR (AGE 8)

Proving there is no age limit on social entrepreneurship Sadhbh decided to support young people across Ireland this year by running her own Easter Hamper raffle. In doing so she raised an incredible €1,042 to buy Easter eggs for children in projects supported by the IYF, who otherwise would not have had that treat this year.

With no end to her talents Sadhbh has also provided the artwork for this year’s Christmas card. Move over Banksy.

MIZEN TO MALIN CYCLE

This September 19 hardy souls cycled 700kms from the most southern tip of Ireland to the most northern point of the country to raise vital funds for the IYF. Both points are marked by famous lighthouses. They cycled this route because lighthouses are guiding lights and beacons of hope. To our cyclists we cannot thank you enough for your commitment.

Not only did they take on this epic challenge but the weather threw everything it had at them. There was rain in biblical proportions, gale force winds and even hailstones. But despite the weather they kept their spirits high and reached the landmark lighthouse at Malin Head after 6 days. Their grit and determination to complete the challenge for Ireland’s most disadvantaged children resulted in €90,000 of donations from friends and families. Next year they are planning to take on a challenge and cycle from Milan to Rome in 6 days! Avanti!
