How you can
make a difference.
Our aim is to reach 45,000 children and young people who are living in disadvantaged circumstances across Ireland.
To do this, we need to support a wide range of youth projects as well those incredible youth workers who work tirelessly, and often voluntarily, to ensure children and young people have a future to look forward to.
But we can’t do it without you. Whether you are an individual or a business you can make a difference.

Success Story
In 2020, IYF partnered with health insurance company Vhi to launch the Vhi Health & Wellbeing Fund. The fund supports projects that seek to strengthen resilience in young people and help them manage anxiety, with the emphasis on early intervention and prevention. In 2020 the fund supported 11 projects nationwide, directly impacting 11,994 young people between the ages of 12 to 19 years.
Since 2017, health insurance company Vhi has partnered with IYF to deliver ‘Run for Fun’ an eight-week programme that builds self-esteem and resilience of young people through a specialised fitness and nutrition programme. Since its pilot in 2017, ‘Run for Fun’ has directly engaged 267 young people nationwide. Together they have completed over 1,000 weeks of training and run over 500 kilometres.

They’ve become a truly valued partner for us all at Vhi, so much so that over the past year employees have fundraised on a number of occasions for the organisation. We’re looking forward to continuing this partnership and deepening it in the months and years ahead.

We’re delighted to support the Irish Youth Foundation as one of our 2021-2023 community partners. We’re on a mission to spread a message of equality through what we wear. We fully support the Irish Youth Foundation’s mission to ensure children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have an equal opportunity to reach their full potential in life. That’s why we donate €1 to the IYF from every jumper we sell.

As actuaries we are fortunate to have had the education, opportunities and support to fulfil our potential in a rewarding profession – something we can often take for granted. Through this Charity Partnership, we will help raise additional funds for the Irish Youth Foundation that will be used to support, educate and train young people who are living in difficult circumstances through no fault of their own.
